Tatūnga
Follow these steps for initial setup of your KEF LSX II LT speakers:
- Turanga: Position the speakers on a stable, flat surface such as a desk, bookshelf, or dedicated speaker stands. For optimal stereo imaging, ensure they are equidistant from your listening position and ideally form an equilateral triangle with it. Consider placing them 6-8 inches from a wall for balanced bass response.
- Connect Interspeaker Cable: Connect the primary speaker to the secondary speaker using the provided 3-meter interspeaker cable. This cable transmits audio and power between the two units.
- Hononga Hiko: Connect the power cord to the primary speaker and then to a wall outlet. The primary speaker powers both units via the interspeaker cable.
- Hiko Tuatahi: The speakers should power on automatically. The status indicator on the front of the primary speaker will illuminate.
- App Setup (Recommended): Download the KEF Connect app from your device's app store. The app guides you through network setup, firmware updates, and advanced audio settings, including room correction and subwoofer integration.
- Hononga Puna: Connect your desired audio source (TV, computer, music player) using the appropriate input (HDMI ARC, USB-C, Optical, or Ethernet).
