The fixture is dimmable and includes an E-26 quick connect adapter for convenient setup.

Follow these steps to properly install your Maxxima LED Downlight:

1. Whakaweto Hiko: Before starting, ensure the power to the existing recessed can fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker.
2. Remove Existing Trim: Carefully remove the existing bulb and trim from the recessed can.
3. Connect E-26 Adapter: Connect the E-26 quick connect adapter (provided) to the fixture's wiring. Then, screw the E-26 adapter into the existing socket of the recessed can.

4. Tīpako Pawera Tae (CCT): Locate the CCT selection switch on the back of the downlight. Choose your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) by sliding the switch.

5. Tāutahia te Rama Iho: Gently push the wiring and the E-26 adapter into the recessed can. Compress the spring clips on the sides of the downlight and insert the fixture into the can. Release the clips to secure the downlight flush against the ceiling.

• Te Manawa o te Koanga: If the light does not stay flush, ensure the spring clips are properly engaged with the torsion clips inside the recessed can. Some older cans may require adjustment or the use of compatible mounting clips.
• Wire Clearance: Verify that internal wires within the can are not obstructing the downlight, which could prevent it from seating properly.

The Maxxima LED Downlight is designed for simple operation once installed.

Te Tohu Paemahana Tae:

The color temperature is set using the switch on the back of the fixture during installation. To change the CCT after installation, you must carefully remove the fixture from the recessed can, adjust the switch, and then reinstall it. The available color temperatures are:

• 2700K: Maama ngawari
• 3000K: Mahana Ma
• 3500K: Maama kanapa
• 4000K: Mā Kupapa
• 5000K: Awatea

Taumahinga Ngahuru:

This downlight is dimmable from 10% to 100% with compatible LED dimmers. Ensure your dimmer switch is rated for LED lighting to achieve optimal performance and avoid flickering or damage.
