This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Maxxima 6-inch Retrofit Recessed Anti-Glare LED Downlight. Please read these instructions thoroughly before beginning installation and retain them for future reference. This product is designed for use in existing 5 or 6-inch recessed can housings.

Tatūnga me te Tāuta
Follow these steps to properly install your Maxxima LED Downlight. Ensure power is OFF before starting.
- Whakaweto Hiko: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box controlling the light fixture you are replacing and turn off the power.
- Prepare Existing Can: Remove the existing bulb and trim from your 5 or 6-inch recessed can housing.
- Tīpako Pawera Tae (CCT): On the back of the LED downlight, locate the CCT selection switch. Choose your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) by sliding the switch. This setting can be changed later if needed.
- Connect E-26 Adapter: Connect the E-26 Quick Connect Adapter to the socket in your existing recessed can.
- Honoa te Rama o raro: Plug the quick connect cable from the LED downlight into the E-26 adapter.
- Insert into Can: Carefully push the LED downlight into the recessed can. The torsion springs on the sides of the downlight will compress and hold the fixture securely in place against the ceiling. Ensure the springs engage with the torsion clips inside the can housing. If the light does not sit flush, ensure the existing socket is pushed up as far as possible or disconnected if it obstructs the fixture.
- Whakaora i te Mana: Once the downlight is securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.

- Te Tohu Paemahana Tae: The CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) is set using a switch on the back of the fixture during installation. To change the CCT after installation, you must remove the fixture from the ceiling, adjust the switch, and then reinstall.
- Te auri: This downlight is dimmable from 10% to 100% with compatible LED dimmers. Ensure your dimmer switch is rated for LED lighting to avoid flickering or performance issues.

- Whakakapi Purama: This fixture features an integrated LED, meaning no bulb replacement is required. The LED is rated for 50,000 lifetime hours.
