- Kaiwhakahaere Whakakā: Press the central Xbox button on the controller to power it on.
- Takirua: Locate the small sync button on the back of the controller, just below the 'Hunter' label. Press and hold this button until the controller's indicator lights begin to flash rapidly. Simultaneously, press the sync button on the dongle. The lights on both the controller and dongle will become solid once successfully paired.
- Hononga Anō: After initial pairing, you can typically reconnect by simply pressing the central Xbox button on the controller.
