2. Nga Tohutohu Haumaru
Always observe basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury. Read all instructions before operating this product.

3. Tatūnga
3.1 Te Wetewete me te Huihuinga
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged. The chainsaw comes with a protective scabbard for the guide bar.
- Tāutahia te Pae Arataki me te Mekameka: Follow the instructions in the separate assembly guide for proper installation of the guide bar and saw chain.
- Whakataunga mekameka: The chainsaw features tool-free rapid chain tensioning. Adjust the chain tension according to the instructions to ensure it is snug but can still be pulled freely by hand.
3.2 Tāuta Pūhiko
This chainsaw requires two 20V (4 Ah) batteries from the Parkside X 20V Team series for operation. Batteries and charger are sold separately.

3.3 Filling the Chain Oil Reservoir

- Fill the reservoir with high-quality chainsaw chain oil.
- Monitor the oil level through the oil level window during operation.

4.2 Chain Speed Selection
The chainsaw offers two adjustable chain speeds:
- Taumata 1: 15 m/s (for lighter tasks or increased control)
- Taumata 2: 20 m/s (for faster cutting and heavier tasks)
Select the appropriate speed based on the material and cutting requirements.
4.3 Nga Tikanga Tapahi
- Tapahanga Whānui: Always ensure a stable stance. Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Felling Grip: Utilize the felling grip for comfortable angled sawing.
- Metal Stop Claw: Use the robust metal stop claw to brace the chainsaw against the wood for improved stability and leverage during cuts.
- A ape i Kickback: Never cut with the tip of the guide bar. Always be aware of the position of the guide bar and potential kickback zones.
5. Tiaki
