4. Tatūnga
Wewete pouaka me te Huihuinga
Your ENGWE L20 2.0 electric bike comes 90% pre-assembled. The remaining assembly typically involves attaching the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and seat. Refer to the included assembly guide for detailed, step-by-step instructions and diagrams. Ensure all bolts and quick releases are securely fastened before your first ride.

Utu Pūhiko Tuatahi
Before your first ride, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the battery charging port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when charging is complete. A full charge typically takes several hours.
Handlebar and Seat Adjustment
Adjust the handlebar height and seat post to a comfortable and safe riding position. Ensure your feet can touch the ground when stopped and that you have a slight bend in your knees when pedaling at the lowest point.

To turn on the e-bike, press and hold the power button on the display unit. To turn off, press and hold the power button again until the display shuts down.
Whakaatu Mahi
The digital display provides real-time information including current speed, battery level, and pedal assist level. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through different display modes or adjust settings.
Aratau Whakaeke
- Aratau Awhina Pedal: The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select from multiple assist levels (e.g., 1-5). Higher levels provide more motor power.
- Aratau Katere: Engage the throttle to propel the bike without pedaling. The throttle is located on the right handlebar.
Huri Hurihuri
The 7-speed gear system allows you to adjust your pedaling effort to match terrain and desired speed. Use the thumb shifter on the right handlebar to change gears. Shift to lower gears for climbing hills and higher gears for flat terrain or downhill riding.
