- Hononga Waea: Connect the household electrical wires to the junction box wires. Use appropriate wire connectors (not included) to secure the connections:
- Connect the black (Live) wire from the supply to the black wire of the junction box.
- Connect the white (Neutral) wire from the supply to the white wire of the junction box.
- Connect the green or bare copper (Ground) wire from the supply to the green wire of the junction box.

- Tīpako Pawera Tae (CCT): Before closing the junction box, use the switch located on the side of the junction box to select your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K).

- Pouaka Hononga Haumaru: Close the junction box cover and secure it. Place the junction box into the ceiling cavity, ensuring it is not pinched or stressed.
- Tūhonohia te Pouaka Whakakotahitanga: Connect the male connector from the downlight fixture to the female connector on the junction box's installation cord. Ensure a secure connection.
- Insert Downlight Fixture: Gently push the spring-loaded clips on the sides of the downlight fixture upwards and insert the fixture into the ceiling opening. Release the clips to secure the fixture flush against the ceiling. The foam gasket will help create a tight seal.

Your Maxxima LED Downlight is designed for simple operation:
- Hiko Whakaka/Weto: The downlight is controlled by a standard wall switch connected to the electrical circuit.
- Te auri: This fixture is compatible with most standard LED dimmers, allowing for a dimmable range of 20% to 100%. Ensure your dimmer is compatible with LED lighting for optimal performance.
- Te Tohu Paemahana Tae: The color temperature (CCT) is set using the switch on the junction box during installation. It cannot be changed without accessing the junction box.
