The docking station features a built-in LED digital screen that displays the connection status of each port, providing real-time operational information at a glance.

5. Tatūnga
- Hono ki te Pona: Connect the integrated USB-C cable from the docking station to a compatible USB-C port on your Windows laptop.
- Tūhono Hiko (Kōwhiringa engari Manakohia): For optimal performance, especially when using multiple displays or high-power devices, connect a 100W (or above) USB-C PD power adapter to the USB-C PD Input Port on the docking station. This will also provide pass-through charging to your laptop.
- Tūhono Whakaaturanga: Connect your monitors to the HDMI and/or DisplayPort outputs on the docking station. The docking station supports triple display for Windows systems.
- Install DisplayLink Driver (if necessary): For triple display functionality on Windows, or extended display on macOS, you may need to install the DisplayLink Manager driver. Visit the official DisplayLink website (synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads) to download the latest driver for your operating system.
- Tūhono Pikitia: Plug in your USB devices (keyboard, mouse, external drives), Ethernet cable, and audio devices to the respective ports.

6. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Display Configuration (Windows)
The docking station supports triple display for Windows systems, allowing for extended or mirrored modes across multiple monitors. This enhances multitasking capabilities significantly.

Note: macOS systems do not support triple-display mode; they can only extend one display with connected monitors under the extension mode.
Whakawhiti Raraunga
The USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (1 USB-C and 2 USB-A) offer data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps, enabling rapid file whakawhitinga. Mo te example, a 20GB file can be transferred in approximately 20 seconds.

Pātene Maukati-Mata
The convenient screen-lock button on top of the docking station allows you to instantly secure your sensitive information by locking your display(s). Press once for Windows systems, or twice for macOS.

Whakatau Tere
The USB-C PD port supports a maximum 100W power input, providing pass-through charging to your laptop with an output of up to 85W. Ensure you use a 100W adapter when the device is fully loaded.
Gigabit Itarangi
Connect to a stable and fast network with the Gigabit Ethernet port, supporting speeds up to 1Gbps for smooth internet browsing and data transfer.
Hononga Ororongo
The 3.5mm AUX jack allows you to connect your earphones or speakers for lossless sound quality.
7. Tiaki
- Te horoi: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the docking station. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Turanga Wewete: The docking station features a magnetic detachable base with a gel pad. This pad can firmly fix the workstation without damaging the desktop. It can be reused after removal and washing.
- Te werawera: Heat generation during operation is normal. The docking station's built-in chip and multiple interfaces generate heat, which the metal shell effectively dissipates to prevent overheating and maintain stability.
8. Te Raru
- HDMI Screen Projection Issues: Select the correct HDMI signal source on your monitor/TV (e.g., HDMI 1 or 2). Refer to your monitor's manual for specific steps.
- Multi-Screen Limitations on Macs: Mac computers do not support Multi-Stream Transport (MST) due to the Apple OS system's lack of multi-screen display functionality. Only one extended display is supported.
- Data Transmission Issues with Multiple Hard Drives: Connect a 100W PD Charger if the docking station is fully loaded or connected to multiple high-power hard drives to avoid power supply issues.
- How to Turn Off the Indicator Light: Press and hold the top button to deactivate the front indicator light.
- DELL Computer Power Warning with Third-Party Chargers: Some DELL PD protocols are proprietary, causing low-voltage charging reminders with third-party chargers. This doesn't affect normal charging.
