- Tāutahia te Pūoko Rere: Insert the flow sensor into the cut water line, ensuring the flow direction arrow on the sensor matches the direction of water flow. Use appropriate fittings (not included, typically part of a filter starter kit) to connect the sensor securely.
- Honoa te Wāhanga Whakaaturanga: Connect the cable from the flow sensor to the display unit. Ensure the connection is secure.
- Whakamau i te Wāhanga Whakaaturanga: Mount the display unit in a convenient and accessible location, such as inside the cabinet under the sink, using screws or adhesive (not included).
- Whakahokia te Waiwai: Slowly turn the main water supply back on. Check all connections for leaks.
- Hinga-Whakaoho tuatahi: The display unit should power on automatically once water flows through the sensor, or it may require battery installation (see section 5.3).
5.3 Battery Installation (if applicable)
While some units are powered by water flow, others may require batteries. If your display unit does not power on, locate the battery compartment (usually on the back or side of the display unit), insert the required batteries (e.g., 2x AAA, not included) according to polarity markings, and close the compartment.

6.2 Resetting the Flow Meter
After replacing your water filter, it is crucial to reset the flow meter to accurately track the usage of the new filter. To reset:
- Locate the "DISPLAY/RESET" button on the front of the display unit.
- Press and hold the "DISPLAY/RESET" button for approximately 3-5 seconds until the display shows "00" or resets to zero.
- Release the button. The meter is now ready to track the usage of your new filter.
6.3 Monitoring Filter Life
The BLANCO 443276 is designed to help you replace your filter every six months or after 400 gallons, whichever comes first. Regularly check the display to monitor the accumulated water volume. When the reading approaches 400 gallons or six months have passed since the last filter replacement, it is time to change your filter.
