4. Tohutohu Tatūnga
4.1. Te Whakataki i te Pūhiko
Before first use, ensure the 4.0 Ah High Performance Battery is fully charged using the provided charger. Refer to the charger's instruction manual for detailed charging procedures.

4.2. Te whakauru i te Pūhiko
Slide the charged 4.0 Ah battery into the battery port on the back of the cleaner until it clicks into place. Ensure it is firmly seated.
4.3. Whakakii i te Taaka Whakataunga
Remove the clean water tank from the unit. Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with clean water up to the 'FULL TANK' line (36 oz). Add the recommended amount of RYOBI OXY Cleaning Concentrate (typically four capfuls for a full tank). Securely replace the cap and reattach the tank to the cleaner.

4.4. Te taapiri i nga taputapu horoi
Select the appropriate cleaning tool for your task. The 7" Wide Path Nozzle is suitable for larger areas, while the Crevice Tool is ideal for tight spaces. Bristle and Rubber Brush Inserts can be interchanged on the nozzles for different cleaning needs. Attach the desired tool firmly to the end of the hose.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
5.1. Horoi Wahi
Position the chosen cleaning tool over the stained area. Press the spray trigger on the handle to dispense cleaning solution onto the spot. Allow the solution to penetrate for a few moments. Then, without pressing the spray trigger, move the tool back and forth over the area to agitate the stain and suction up the dirty solution. Repeat as necessary until the stain is removed.

5.2. Upholstery Cleaning
For upholstery, test a small, inconspicuous area first for colorfastness. Apply solution sparingly to avoid over-wetting. Gently scrub with the appropriate brush insert and then suction up the dirty liquid. Work in small sections to ensure thorough cleaning and drying.

6. Tiaki
6.1. Emptying and Cleaning Dirty Water Tank
After each use, remove the dirty water tank from the unit. Carefully empty the dirty water and rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water. Allow it to air dry before reattaching.
6.2. Cleaning the Hose and Tools
Use the Hose Rinse Tool to flush out any remaining solution or debris from the hose. Attach the rinse tool to the hose and run clean water through it until clear. Rinse all cleaning attachments under running water and allow them to air dry.
6.3. Rokiroki
Ensure the unit, tanks, and all accessories are clean and dry before storing. Store the cleaner and its components in a dry, protected area, away from extreme temperatures. The hose and tools can be conveniently stored on the unit itself.
7. Te Raru
If the cleaner is not operating as expected, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
- Kore Mana: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly inserted. Check if the battery contacts are clean.
- Kore Momo: Verify that the dirty water tank is correctly seated and sealed. Check the hose and nozzle for blockages. Ensure the dirty water tank is not full.
- Kore Rere: Confirm the clean water tank is filled with solution and properly attached. Check the spray nozzle for any clogs.
- He Rawe te Mahi Whakapai: Ensure the correct cleaning concentrate is used and mixed according to instructions. Allow sufficient time for the solution to penetrate stains.
