- Install AAA Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the Dlyfull B4 tester. Insert the two included 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
- Whakamātautau Whaiaro Tuatahi: Press and hold the "CHECK" button located on the front of the tester for approximately 3 seconds. The LCD display will show the tester's own battery level. If "Err" appears, ensure the AAA batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge.

The Dlyfull B4 Battery Tester is designed for straightforward operation. Follow these steps to test your batteries:
- Tāutuhia te Momo Pūhiko: Locate the appropriate testing slot or contact point on the tester for your specific battery type (e.g., 1.5V Alkaline, 3.7V Li-ion, 9V, etc.). The tester has clearly labeled sections for different battery chemistries and sizes.
- Tūhono Pūhiko:
- Cylindrical Batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 18650, etc.): Place the positive (+) end of the battery into the designated slot. Use the black negative pin (attached via a coiled cord) to touch the negative (-) end of the battery. Ensure a firm contact.
- Button Cells (CR2032, AG series, etc.): Place the button cell directly into its corresponding slot, observing the polarity markings.
- Multilayer Batteries (9V, 6V, 12V): Insert the battery into the dedicated slot, aligning with the polarity indicators.

- Panui Whakaaturanga: Once the battery is correctly connected, the LCD display will automatically show the battery's voltage and remaining charge as a percentage and a battery level bar.
- Tango Pūhiko: Carefully remove the battery from the tester after reading the results.
