Binocular Components
Familiarize yourself with the key components of your Razor UHD binoculars:

The twist-up eyecups allow for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses. Twist the eyecups up or down until you achieve a full field of view without any dark rings or shadows around the edges.

The interpupillary distance (IPD) is the distance between the centers of your pupils. To adjust, hold the binoculars with both hands and bend the hinge until you see a single, clear circular field of view. The Razor UHD 10x42 has an IPD range of 56mm - 76mm.

Adjust the hinge to match your interpupillary distance.

- Choose an object about 20 yards away.

- Rokiroki: Store binoculars in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures. Keep lens caps on when not in use.
- Parewai/Kohu: While waterproof and fogproof, avoid unnecessary submersion or exposure to extreme conditions that could compromise seals over time.

If you encounter issues with your binoculars, consider the following:
- Atahanga Pupuru: Ensure the center focus wheel and diopter are correctly adjusted for your eyes and the viewing distance. Check for smudges on the lenses.
- Dark Rings/Shadows in View: Adjust the eyecups and interpupillary distance until you see a single, clear, circular field of view.
- kohu: Internal fogging is rare due to argon purging. If it occurs, contact Vortex Optics support. External fogging can be wiped away.
