The PhoenixHD cameras are designed for outdoor use with an IP66 weatherproof rating, ensuring durability against various weather conditions. They can be mounted on walls, eaves, or other suitable surfaces.

The cameras are IP66 rated, meaning they are protected against dust ingress and powerful water jets, making them suitable for outdoor environments. They can withstand temperatures from -20°C (-4°F) to 60°C (140°F).

1.3 Monitor and System Power-Up

The PhoenixHD system operates without requiring Wi-Fi, utilizing a secure GigaXtreme Technology for wireless communication between cameras and the monitor.

  1. Connect Monitor Power: Plug the monitor power adapter into the monitor and then into a standard electrical outlet.
  2. Honoa te Mana o te Kāmera: Plug each camera's power adapter into the camera and then into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Arataki Pūnaha: The monitor will power on automatically and display live footage from the connected cameras. The cameras are pre-paired to the monitor for immediate use.

2.1 Ora View and Monitor Features

The system features a large 10.1" touchscreen monitor for viewkei te ora footage. You can switch between single camera view, split-screen, or quad-screen viewing to monitor multiple areas simultaneously.

2.2 Korero Rua-Waahi

The two-way talk feature allows you to communicate directly through the monitor to anyone near the cameras. This is useful for addressing visitors or deterring unwanted individuals.

  1. Activate Two-Way Talk: On the monitor's live view screen, locate and tap the microphone icon.
  2. Korero: Speak clearly into the monitor's built-in microphone. Your voice will be projected through the camera's speaker.
  3. Whakarongo: The camera's microphone will pick up audio from the monitored area, which will be played through the monitor's speakers.

2.4 Matakite Po

The 1080P HD cameras provide bright and clear night vision with a range of up to 100ft (15 meters), ensuring continuous surveillance even in low-light or complete darkness.
