Tatūnga
1. Te Whakatakotoranga Turanga
Place the charging base against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter to the sides and 2 meters in front. Connect the power adapter to the charging base and plug it into a power outlet. Ensure the robot is fully charged before its first use.
2. Whakataki Tuatahi
Place the robot onto the charging base. The indicator lights will show charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours. Do not operate the robot until it is fully charged.

Download the Msmartlife app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your Midea M7 to your home Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you can link the device to Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice control. The app allows for easy connection via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

1. Smart Mapping and Navigation
The Midea M7 utilizes 5th generation LiDAR technology for instant auto-mapping. It scans and maps your entire house, creating a 3D floor plan with virtual wall and editing functions. Maps for different floors can be saved within the Msmartlife app, allowing for customized cleaning routes and restricted areas.

2. Suction Power and Cleaning Modes
Equipped with an efficient BLDC motor, the M7 delivers up to 4000Pa suction power. You can control the suction level (Silent, Soft, Standard, Max) and water flow through the Msmartlife app to suit different cleaning needs and floor types. The robot also features carpet detection, automatically maximizing suction power when on carpets and returning to normal on hard floors.

3. Auto Return Charge
When cleaning is complete or the battery is low, the M7 will automatically return to its charging base. This ensures the robot is always ready for its next cleaning cycle.
4. Āhuatanga Haumaru
- Ārai-Tukinga: The robot is equipped with 30 sensors to detect and avoid obstacles such as furniture and walls, protecting both the robot and your home.
- Ārai-Hinganga: Sensors prevent the robot from falling down stairs or off ledges, ensuring safe operation.
- Te kaha piki: The M7 can climb over obstacles up to 20mm high, allowing for seamless transitions between different floor surfaces.

1. Cleaning the Dust Box and Filter
The dust box and HEPA filter should be cleaned regularly, ideally after each use or as needed depending on usage. Remove the dust box, empty its contents, and rinse it with water. The HEPA filter can also be rinsed under running water. Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling them into the robot.

Periodically check and clean the main roller brush and side brushes. Remove any tangled hair, debris, or threads. Use the provided cleaning tool if necessary. Replace worn-out brushes to maintain cleaning efficiency.
3. Water Tank and Mopping Cloth
After wet cleaning, empty any remaining water from the tank and rinse it. Clean the mopping cloth thoroughly and allow it to air dry before reattaching or storing.
4. Pūoko Cleaning
Wipe the robot's sensors (LDS sensor, cliff sensors, anti-collision sensors) with a soft, dry cloth to ensure accurate navigation and obstacle detection.
