3. Tirohanga Hototahi
Before attempting to replace your existing remote, it is essential to confirm compatibility. This remote is specifically designed for Emomo 8 male pin massage systems, models NHX03 and NHX034. There are several versions of these models with varying functions and buttons.
3.1 Model and Serial Number Verification
Locate the barcode sticker on the back of your existing remote. The serial number is typically found below this barcode. Ensure that the model number (NHX03 or NHX034) and the serial number match your current remote for proper replacement. This remote will not fit model NHX032.

3.2 Connector Type Verification
This remote features an 8-male pin connection designed to plug into the control box of your recliner. Verify that your chair's control box has a compatible 8-pin female port. If the pin configuration or number of pins differs, this remote cannot be used as a replacement.

4. Tatūnga
- Momotu Hiko: Before connecting the new remote, ensure your power recliner lift chair is completely disconnected from its power source. Unplug the chair from the wall outlet.
- Kimihia te Pouaka Mana: Identify the control box on your recliner, typically located underneath the chair or near the motor.
- Tūhono Mamao: Carefully align the 8-male pin connector of the new remote with the corresponding 8-female pin port on the chair's control box. Push firmly until the connection is secure. Do not force the connector.
- Honoa Anō te Mana: Once the remote is securely connected, plug your recliner back into the wall outlet.
- Taumahinga Whakamatau: Test all buttons on the remote to ensure proper operation of the chair's functions.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

6. Tiaki

- Rokiroki: When not in use, store the remote in a safe place where it will not be dropped or exposed to extreme temperatures or moisture.
