2.1 Te Whakataki i te Pūhiko

Before first use, fully charge the Silva Explore 5 headlamp. Connect the included USB-C cable to the charging port on the headlamp and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The 4-level battery indicator will show the charging progress.

2.2 Attaching and Adjusting the Headlamp

The Silva Explore 5 comes with an adjustable headband and can also be mounted on a helmet using the included helmet clip and adhesive tape.

  • Peepee: The 30 mm flexible and wide headband provides extra stability. It features an anti-slip silicone string on the inside to keep it securely in place, even when wet. Adjust the large buckles to fit comfortably around your head.
  • Whakaeke potae: Use the provided helmet clip and adhesive tape to securely attach the headlamp to your helmet.

Kei teamp unit can be tilted up to 90 degrees, allowing you to adjust the light beam direction for different terrains and activities.
