Follow these steps carefully to install your ECOELER Countdown Timer Switch. If you are not comfortable performing electrical work, please consult a qualified electrician.

1. Whakawetohia te Mana: Locate your circuit breaker panel and turn off the power to the switch box where you will be installing the timer. Verify that the power is off using a voltage Kaiwhakamatautau.

3. Tautuhi Waea: Identify the wires connected to your existing switch. Typically, you will find:
   • Hot Wire: Usually black, brings power from the circuit breaker.
   • Uta Waea: Usually black or red, carries power to the light/fan.
   • Waea kūpapa: Ko te tikanga he ma. A neutral wire is required for this timer switch.
   • Waea Papa: I te nuinga o te waa he kakariki, he parahi kore ranei.

Hononga Waea

Connect the wires from the wall box to the ECOELER Countdown Timer Switch as follows:

1. Honoa te Waea whero from the timer to the Uta waea from the wall box using a wire nut.
2. Honoa te Iti Iti from the timer to the Waea wera from the wall box using a wire nut.
3. Honoa te Waea ma from the timer to the Waea kupapa from the wall box using a wire nut.
4. Honoa te Waea kākāriki from the timer to the Taputapu whenua from the wall box using a wire nut.

Whakauru-Whakauru

1. Carefully push all wires back into the wall box.
2. Secure the timer switch to the wall box with the provided screws.
3. Attach the new wall plate over the timer switch.
4. Whakaora i te Mana: Return to your circuit breaker panel and turn the power back ON.

The ECOELER Countdown Timer Switch offers two primary operating modes: Countdown Mode and Constant On Mode.

To activate a countdown:

1. Press the desired time button (1 Min, 5 Min, 10 Min, 15 Min, 30 Min, 60 Min, 2 Hour, or 4 Hour).
2. The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate, and the countdown will begin.
3. The connected load (light, fan, etc.) will turn off automatically once the selected time expires.
4. To cancel a countdown manually, press the large ON/OFF button at the bottom.

Constant On Mode (Manual Override)

To keep the connected load continuously ON, bypassing the timer function:

1. Press and hold the large ON/OFF button at the bottom for more than 5 seconds.
2. The load will remain ON until the ON/OFF button is pressed again to turn it off.

The ECOELER Countdown Timer Switch requires minimal maintenance. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:
