1. Kupu Whakataki
This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Lexicon Newberry Velvet Full Platform Bed. Please read this manual thoroughly before assembly and retain it for future reference. Proper assembly and care will ensure the longevity and safety of your product.

2. Nga korero haumaru

- Do not use power tools for assembly as they may overtighten and damage components.
- This bed is designed for sleeping purposes only. Do not stand or jump on the bed.
- Refer to the product care instructions for cleaning and maintenance to avoid damage to the velvet upholstery.
3. Ihirangi mokete
Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact Lexicon customer support.

4. Tatūnga me te Runanga
Assembly typically requires two adults. Lay out all parts on a clean, soft surface to prevent damage.
Huihuinga-a-Taahiraa:
- Wewetehia me te tautuhi i nga waahanga: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Compare them with the parts list to ensure everything is present.
- Attach Headboard Supports: Secure the metal support legs to the back of the headboard using the provided bolts and washers. Ensure they are firmly attached but do not overtighten.
- Honoa Rere Taha ki te Papa: Align the side rails with the headboard supports. Insert bolts through the pre-drilled holes and secure with washers and nuts. Hand-tighten initially.
- Connect Side Rails to Footboard: Attach the other end of the side rails to the footboard using the same method. Ensure the footboard is facing the correct direction.
- Install Center Support Legs (if applicable): Some models may include center support legs for the side rails. Attach these according to the diagrams in your specific hardware pack.
- Kōkuhu Papa: Place the wooden slats across the side rails. Ensure they are evenly spaced and fit securely into any designated slots or supports. Some slats may require screwing into the side rails for added stability.

- Whakamutunga Whakamutunga: Once all components are assembled, go back and securely tighten all bolts and screws using the provided Allen wrench. Do not overtighten.
- Whakatikatikahia te Teitei o te Pane o te Moenga: The headboard features adjustable height settings. Loosen the bolts connecting the headboard to its supports, adjust to the desired height, and re-tighten the bolts securely.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
The Lexicon Newberry Velvet Full Platform Bed is designed to provide a stable and comfortable sleeping surface. No box spring or foundation is required due to the integrated slat system.

The headboard height can be adjusted to accommodate different mattress thicknesses or aesthetic preferences. To adjust, carefully loosen the bolts connecting the headboard to its support legs, slide the headboard to the desired position, and then firmly re-tighten all bolts. Ensure the bed is empty before making adjustments.
6. Tiaki me te Tiaki
Te Tiaki i te Upholstery Wereweti:
- Whakapai auau: Gently vacuum the velvet upholstery regularly using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris.
- Whakapai Maama: For spills, blot immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub, as this can spread the stain and damage the pile. For stubborn stains, consult a professional upholstery cleaner or use a velvet-safe cleaning product, testing on an inconspicuous area first.
- Aukati i te Maramatanga o te ra: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading. Position the bed away from direct sunlight or use curtains/blinds.
- Aukati i nga matū kino: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals on the velvet fabric.
General Frame Care:
- Tirohia ngā pūtu me ngā tīwiri katoa i ia wā, i ia wā, kia mau tonu ai. Whakamaua anō mēnā e tika ana kia mau tonu ai te pumau.
- Wipe down any exposed non-upholstered surfaces with a soft, damp kakahu.
7. Te Raru

- E wiri ana te moenga: Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Check that the bed is on a level surface.
- Haruru haruru: Re-tighten all hardware, especially where the side rails connect to the headboard and footboard, and where slats connect to the side rails. Ensure slats are properly seated.
- Headboard not stable after adjustment: Verify that the adjustment bolts are securely tightened after setting the desired height.
- Nga wahanga ngaro: If any parts are missing upon unboxing, do not proceed with assembly. Contact Lexicon customer support immediately for replacement parts.
