Before first use, ensure your Arctis GameBuds and charging case are fully charged. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the case and a power source, or place the case on a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad. The case provides up to 3 additional charges, extending total battery life to 40 hours.

2. Selecting the Correct Ear Tips for Optimal Fit
A proper seal is crucial for optimal sound quality and Active Noise Cancelling performance. Experiment with the included Small, Medium, and Large silicone ear tips to find the size that provides the most comfortable and secure fit for your ears.

The Arctis GameBuds offer two primary connection methods:
2.4GHz Wireless (Low Latency Gaming):
For the best gaming experience with minimal latency, use the included USB-C wireless dongle. Plug the dongle into a compatible USB-C port on your PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, or other supported gaming device. The earbuds will automatically connect to the dongle when removed from the case.

Bluetooth 5.3 (Mobile & General Use):
For connecting to mobile phones, tablets, or other Bluetooth-enabled devices, ensure the earbuds are in pairing mode (refer to the operating section for details). Select "Arctis GameBuds" from your device's Bluetooth settings. The Bluetooth 5.3 connection offers wider range and improved battery efficiency for everyday listening.
Quick-Switch Dual Wireless: The GameBuds allow you to quickly switch between the 2.4GHz dongle connection and Bluetooth. This feature is managed via the SteelSeries Companion App, providing seamless transitions between your gaming and mobile audio.
Operating Your GameBuds
1. Touch Controls and Button Mapping
The Arctis GameBuds feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud. These controls can be customized via the SteelSeries Companion App. Default functions include:

2. Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) & Transparency Mode
The GameBuds feature 4-mic hybrid ANC for immersive audio by reducing ambient noise. You can also activate Transparency Mode to hear your surroundings without removing the earbuds. These modes can be toggled and adjusted (Low, Medium, High) through the SteelSeries Companion App.

3. SteelSeries Companion App
Enhance your audio experience by downloading the SteelSeries Companion App (available for iOS and Android). The app allows you to:
Access over 100 finely tuned game audio presets for popular titles.
Customize EQ settings to your preference.
Adjust ANC and Transparency mode levels.
Control microphone volume and sidetone.
Manage device volume and set volume limits.
Monitor battery life for each earbud and the charging case.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds, follow these maintenance guidelines:
Te horoi: Regularly wipe the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For ear tips, remove them and clean with mild soap and water, ensuring they are completely dry before reattaching. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
