1. Te wetewete
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect each item for any signs of damage. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.

- Insert a 9V battery (not included) into the amplifier's battery compartment, or connect a compatible 9V AC adapter (not included) to the ampte whakauru mana o te liifier.
- Connect one end of the included amplifier cable to the output jack on the guitar.

- Me whakarite te amplifier's volume is set to a low level before powering on.
3. Tuning the Guitar
Use the included digital tuner to accurately tune your guitar. Attach the tuner to the headstock of the guitar. Pluck each string individually and adjust the corresponding tuning peg until the tuner indicates the correct pitch (E, A, D, G, B, E from thickest to thinnest string).

Securely attach the guitar strap to the strap buttons located on the body of the guitar. Ensure both ends of the strap are firmly attached before playing.

Whakaahua: Taipitopito view of the guitar's hardware, including the 3-ply pickguard, vintage synchronized tremolo, SSS pickups, volume/tone controls, and 5-way switch.

- Ngā Pēhi Oro: Adjust the treble frequencies. Typically, one tone knob controls the neck pickup, and the other controls the middle pickup. Turning clockwise increases brightness, counter-clockwise reduces it.
- Whakawhiti Ara-5: Selects different pickup configurations for varied tonal characteristics.

- Tūnga 1 (Pītiti): Activates the bridge pickup for a bright, sharp tone.
- Position 2 (Bridge + Middle): Combines bridge and middle pickups for a slightly warmer, quacky tone.
- Position 3 (Middle): Activates the middle pickup for a balanced, clear tone.
- Position 4 (Middle + Neck): Combines middle and neck pickups for a fuller, rounder tone.
- Tūnga 5 (Kaki): Activates the neck pickup for a warm, mellow tone.
Amplifier Usage

- Rōrahi: Ka whakahaere i te amplifier's output volume.
- Gain/Overdrive: Adjusts the amount of distortion or overdrive. Use the switch to select between clean and overdrive channels.
- Oro: Adjusts the overall tonal character, from darker to brighter.
- Auxiliary Input (1/8"): Allows connection of external audio devices (e.g., MP3 player, phone) for playing along with backing tracks.
- Putanga Puoro: For silent practice, connect headphones to this jack.

- Wipe down the guitar body, neck, and strings with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove sweat and dirt.
- For deeper cleaning, use guitar-specific cleaning products. Avoid harsh chemicals.
