This manual provides instructions for the WELLFOR 10-inch Shower Faucet System, Model 98102. This system features an ultra-thin rain-fall shower head, a 3-mode handheld spray, and a 2-in-1 diverter, designed for a comprehensive shower experience. It includes a pressure balance cartridge valve for stable temperature control and is constructed from premium brass for durability.

3.1. Nga Mahi i mua i te whakaurunga

1. Whakawetohia te Wai: Locate the main water shut-off valve for your home and turn it off to prevent water damage.
2. Kohikohi Utauta: You will need a pipe wrench, adjustable wrench, screwdriver, thread seal tape, level, measuring tape, and drill.

3.2. Rough-in Valve Installation

1. Whakaritea te whakatuwheratanga o te pakitara: Create an opening in the wall according to the dimensions provided in Figure 3, ensuring adequate space for the rough-in valve body.
2. Mount Rough-in Valve: Secure the rough-in valve body to the wall studs or blocking. Ensure it is level and at the correct depth relative to the finished wall surface (Min. 70mm / 2.75 inches, Max. 90mm / 3.54 inches from finish wall to stringer or base surface, as shown in Figure 3).
3. Honoa Raina Wai: Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the rough-in valve (marked 'H' for hot and 'C' for cold). Use thread seal tape on all threaded connections.
4. Hononga Pūnaha: Connect the outlet pipes for the shower head and handheld spray to the appropriate ports on the rough-in valve.

3.3. Trim and Fixture Installation

1. Tāutahia te Ringa Kaukau: Thread the shower arm into the wall outlet for the rain shower head. Ensure it is securely tightened and sealed.
2. Attach Rain Shower Head: Screw the 10-inch rain shower head onto the shower arm. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a final snug fit, being careful not to overtighten.
3. Install Control Trim: Install the decorative trim plate and handle onto the rough-in valve according to the manufacturer's instructions provided with the physical product.
4. Mount Handheld Holder: Choose a suitable height for the handheld shower holder (typically 39.37-59.05 inches / 1000-1500mm from the floor, as per Figure 3) and secure it to the wall using the provided hardware.
5. Connect Handheld Shower: Attach the shower hose to the handheld spray and the wall outlet. Place the handheld spray into its holder.

2. Tirohia mo nga turuturu: Inspect all connections for any signs of leaks. Tighten connections as necessary.
3. Mahi Whakamatau: Test both the rain shower head and handheld spray, and verify the diverter functions correctly.

4.1. Te Rere Wai me te Mana Pawera

• Whakakā/Weto: Rotate the main handle to turn the water flow on or off.
• Whakaritea te Mamahana: Rotate the handle left for hotter water and right for colder water. The pressure balance cartridge maintains a consistent temperature.

4.2. Diverter Function

• Switching Outlets: The small square knob on the control trim acts as the diverter. Pull it out or push it in (depending on the specific model's mechanism, refer to product instructions if different) to switch water flow between the rain shower head and the handheld spray.

4.3. Handheld Spray Modes

The handheld shower features three distinct spray modes for varied preferences.

• Huri Huri: A button or lever on the handheld shower head allows you to cycle through the three spray patterns. Press or slide the control to select your desired mode.
• Aratau 1: (e.g., Full Spray) - A standard, invigorating spray.
• Aratau 2: (e.g., Massage Spray) - A more focused, pulsating spray.
• Aratau 3: (e.g., Mist Spray) - A gentle, wide coverage spray.

5. Tiaki me te Tiaki

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your WELLFOR shower system.

5.1. Te horoi

• Whakapai auau: Clean the surfaces regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for bathroom fixtures.
• Aukati i nga matū kino: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals (e.g., ammonia-based cleaners, bleach) as these can damage the brushed nickel finish.
• Horoi pupuha: The silicone nozzles on the rain shower head and handheld spray are designed for easy cleaning. Gently rub the nozzles with your finger or a soft brush to dislodge mineral buildup.

5.2. Tiaki Whānui

• Mahi Kore-maturuturu: The ceramic disc valve is designed for drip-free operation. If dripping occurs, it may indicate a need for professional inspection or cartridge replacement.
• Kounga wai: In areas with hard water, regular cleaning of nozzles and internal components may be necessary to prevent mineral buildup.
