1. Te Whakakaha/Weto
- To turn on the blower, press and hold the variable speed trigger.
- To turn off, release the trigger.
2. Whakahaere Tere
- Rere Keu Keu: The blower features a variable speed trigger for precise control over the airflow. Press the trigger lightly for lower speeds and more firmly for higher speeds.
- Tautuhinga Tere: Use the speed selection button (often depicted with a turtle and rabbit icon) to toggle between lower power (turtle) and higher power (rabbit) modes.
- Cruise Control (Lock-On Button): For extended use, engage the lock-on button to maintain a constant speed without continuously holding the trigger. To disengage, simply press the trigger again.

3. Tohutohu Whakamahi
- Start with a lower speed for light debris or delicate areas, then increase as needed.
- Sweep debris into piles rather than scattering it.
- The blower is effective for clearing leaves, grass clippings, and light snow.
