1. Te Whakataki i te Pūhiko
Before first use, fully charge the radio's internal 600mAh rechargeable battery. Use the provided USB Type-C power cord to connect the radio to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- Locate the Type-C charging port on the side of the radio.
- Insert the Type-C connector of the power cord into the radio's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the power cord to a USB power source.

- Once fully charged, the indicator light may change color or turn off (refer to specific product behavior). Disconnect the radio from the power source.

1. Te Hiko / Whakaweto
Locate the power switch, usually combined with the volume knob. Rotate the volume knob clockwise to turn the radio on and increase volume. Rotate counter-clockwise until a click is heard to turn off the radio.
2. Whiriwhiringa Roopu
The radio supports AM, FM, and SW bands. Use the band selector switch, typically labeled 'FM AM SW', to choose your desired frequency band.

3. Te Whakatūnga ki tētahi Teihana
Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal reception, especially for FM and SW bands. Rotate the 'TUNING' knob to scan for radio stations. The frequency display will indicate the current tuning position.

4. Mana Rōrahi
Adjust the volume by rotating the 'VOLUME' knob. Turn clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
5. Using the Earphone Jack
For private listening, plug standard 3.5mm earphones (not included) into the earphone jack located on the side of the radio. The internal speaker will automatically mute when earphones are connected.
