4. Tatūnga
4.1 Tāuta Pūhiko
The remote requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included). To install:
- Whakatuwheratia te uhi o te wahanga pākahiko kei muri o te mamao.
- Whakauruhia nga pākahiko AAA e rua, kia tika te polarity (+ me te -).
- Katia kia mau te uhi o te wahanga pākahiko.

4.2 Initial Connection (Apple TV)
No pairing is required for the Apple TV. Once batteries are installed, the remote is ready for immediate use with compatible Apple TV models.
4.3 TV Control Setup (Power/Volume/Mute)
The Power, Volume, and Mute buttons on this remote are designed to work with specific TV brands. These buttons are compatible with Samsung, LG, Vizio, Hisense, Sony, Amazon Fire, Toshiba, and Insignia Fire TVs.

Important: Before using this remote, you must "UNLOCK" your old device with its original remote. Failure to do so may prevent this remote from connecting to your device.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Once set up, operate the remote by pointing it directly at your Apple TV device. Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the device for optimal performance.

5.1 Whakaterenga Taketake
Use the circular Navigation Pad to move through menus and content. Press the OK / Tomo button in the center of the pad to select an item.
5.2 Whakahoki Whakahoki Media

5.3 Volume and Mute
Ko te Rōrahi (+), Rōrahi (-), a Wahangu buttons control your TV's audio, provided your TV brand is listed as compatible in Section 4.3.
5.4 Mana Hongere
Ko te CH+ a CH- buttons can be used to change channels if your TV supports this function via the remote.

7. Tiaki
7.1 Whakakapinga Pūhiko
Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always use fresh AAA batteries and ensure correct polarity.
7.2 Te horoi

8. Te Raru
- Mamao kaore i te whakautu: Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Ensure a clear line of sight to the Apple TV device.
- TV Power/Volume/Mute not working: Verify your TV brand is listed as compatible in Section 4.3. Ensure your old device was "UNLOCKED" as per instructions in Section 4.3.
- No Siri or Voice Function: This remote does not support Siri or voice commands. This is an infrared (IR) remote control.
