Paewhiri Mana
The Tesla AF701BX features an intuitive digital touchscreen for easy operation. Refer to the image below for a visual guide to the control panel functions.

- Papatono Tatūkē: 12 pre-set cooking functions for common dishes.
- Whakawerahia: Initiates a preheating cycle.
- Timata / Okioki: Starts or pauses the cooking process.

- Tahuri Whakamaumahara: Alerts you to shake or turn food during cooking.
Tatūnga

- Ma: Before first use, wash the frying basket with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the inside and outside of the appliance with a damp kakahu.
- Turanga: Place the air fryer on a stable, horizontal, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate air circulation around the appliance (at least 10 cm clearance on all sides).

- Tīpako Tautuhinga:
- Tautuhinga ā-ringa: Use the Temperature (+/-) and Time (+/-) buttons to set your desired cooking temperature (60-200°C) and time (1-60 minutes).
- Papatono tatūkē: Select one of the 12 pre-set cooking icons for common dishes. The appliance will automatically set the recommended temperature and time. You can adjust these settings manually if needed.
- Whakamahanahia (Whiringa): For best results, especially with certain foods, press the "Preheat" button before adding food. The air fryer will heat to the set temperature and notify you when ready.
- Tīmata te tunu: Press the "Start" button to begin the cooking process.
- Tahuri Whakamaumahara: During cooking, the "Turn Reminder" icon may illuminate, accompanied by a beep, indicating that the food should be shaken or turned for even cooking. Carefully pull out the basket, shake or turn the food, and reinsert the basket. Cooking will resume automatically.
- Whakaoti: Once the cooking time has elapsed, the air fryer will beep and automatically shut off.
- Tango Kai: Carefully pull out the frying basket using the handle. Use heat-resistant tongs to remove the cooked food.
- Weto Whakakore: Press the Power button to turn off the appliance, or it will automatically enter standby mode after a period of inactivity.
