1. Kupu Whakataki
This manual provides detailed instructions for the HARDELL 508-Piece Rotary Tool Accessories Kit. This kit is designed to enhance the functionality of compatible rotary tools, offering a wide array of attachments for various applications including sanding, polishing, grinding, drilling, cutting, carving, and engraving. Proper use and maintenance of these accessories will ensure optimal performance and longevity.

2. Kua mutu ngā ihirangi o te keteview
The 508-piece kit includes a comprehensive selection of accessories categorized by function. These categories include polishing/cleaning, grinding/sharpening, sanding, drilling, cutting, carving/engraving, and various general accessories.

Key Accessory Types:
- Te whakakanapa/te horoi: Brass wire brushes, stainless steel wire brushes, nylon brushes, small felt wheels, large felt wheels, bullet felt wheels, felt wheel mandrels.
- Te Huri/Te Whakakoi: Alumina grinding wheels, silicon carbide grinding wheels, white steel jade grinding wheels, rubber emery wheels, aluminum oxide grinding wheels with shank, rubber grinding stones.

3. Hototahi
This rotary tool accessory kit is designed for broad compatibility. It includes four collets in sizes 1/16" (1.6mm), 3/32" (2.3mm), and 1/8" (3.2mm x 2). These collets ensure seamless integration with various rotary tools, including those from HARDELL and other major brands that accept 1/8" shank accessories.

4. Te whakaurunga o nga taputapu
To install an accessory into your rotary tool, follow these general steps:
- Ensure your rotary tool is unplugged or powered off.
- Loosen the collet nut on your rotary tool.
- Select the appropriate collet size for your chosen accessory's shank. The kit includes 1/16", 3/32", and 1/8" collets.
- Insert the accessory shank into the collet, ensuring it is seated securely.
- Tighten the collet nut using the provided wrench until the accessory is firmly held and does not wobble. Do not overtighten.
- For accessories requiring mandrels (e.g., sanding bands, cut-off wheels), first attach the abrasive component to the mandrel, then insert the mandrel into the collet.

5. Nga Aratohu Whakahaere
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including eye protection, when operating a rotary tool. Ensure your workpiece is securely clamped. Select the correct accessory and speed for the material and task.

- Tapahi: Cut-off wheels are effective for slicing through metal, plastic, or wood. Diamond cutting wheels are for harder materials like ceramics or stone.
- Whakairo/Whakairo: Diamond grinding drills and HSS cutters allow for detailed work on various materials.

6. Te Whakatikatika me te Penapena
To ensure the longevity and performance of your HARDELL rotary tool accessories, proper maintenance and storage are essential.
- Te horoi: After each use, clean accessories to remove debris and residue. Brushes can be cleaned with a stiff brush or compressed air. Abrasive accessories should be inspected for wear and replaced as needed.
- Rokiroki: Store all accessories in the provided compact and sturdy storage case. This helps keep them organized, protected from damage, and easily accessible. Ensure the case is latched securely to prevent items from scattering.
- Kohatu kakahu: Use the dressing stone to reshape and clean grinding wheels, maintaining their concentricity and cutting efficiency.

7. Te Raru
If you encounter issues while using the accessories, consider the following:
- Accessory Wobbling: Ensure the correct collet size is used and the collet nut is tightened securely. The accessory shank must be fully inserted into the collet.
- Mahinga Kino: Verify that the accessory type and rotational speed are appropriate for the material being worked on. Worn or dull accessories should be replaced.
- Te wera nui: Reduce pressure and/or speed. Ensure proper ventilation for the rotary tool.
- Breakage: Excessive pressure or incorrect angle can cause breakage. Use light, consistent pressure and maintain the recommended angle for the accessory.
