  1. Rear-Facing Harness Mode:
    • For children weighing 5-40 lb (2.27-18.14 kg).
    • Child's head must be at least 1 inch below the top of the car seat's headrest.
    • Always install rear-facing in the back seat of the vehicle.
  2. Forward-Facing Harness Mode:
    • For children weighing 26.5-65 lb (12.02-29.48 kg).
    • Child must be at least 1 year old and have outgrown the rear-facing weight/height limits.
    • Always install forward-facing in the back seat of the vehicle.
  3. Highback Booster Mode:
    • For children weighing 40-100 lb (18.14-45.36 kg).
    • Child must be at least 4 years old and have outgrown the forward-facing harness limits.
    • Use with the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt system.

The car seat features 6 recline positions to ensure optimal comfort for your child and a proper angle for installation. Refer to the recline indicator on the side of the car seat to select the appropriate position for your child's weight and the car seat's mode of use.

The No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System allows you to adjust the headrest and harness height simultaneously. This system offers 10 headrest positions to achieve the safest fit as your child grows. To adjust, squeeze the adjustment handle located at the top of the headrest and slide it up or down to the desired position. Ensure the harness straps are at or just below the child's shoulders for rear-facing, and at or just above for forward-facing.

LATCH Tāuta

The Graco TriRide car seat is LATCH-equipped for easy installation. Locate the LATCH anchors in your vehicle and attach the car seat's LATCH connectors. Ensure a tight fit by pressing down on the car seat while tightening the LATCH strap. Always check for less than 1 inch of movement at the belt path when pulled side-to-side and front-to-back.

Using Cup Holders

The two integrated cup holders are designed for convenience. They can be removed for easy cleaning. Simply pull them out to detach and push them firmly back into place to reattach.

Cleaning the Harness and Buckles
