6. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Your Maxxima LED Security Light features adjustable settings for Color Temperature (CCT), Motion Sensor Sensitivity, and Lighting Time. These settings are controlled by dials located on the bottom of the motion sensor unit.

Whakaahua 6: Kati-ake view of the control dials on the motion sensor, indicating settings for CCT, Sensitivity, and Lighting Time.
6.1 Te Whakatikatika i te Pāmahana Tae (CCT)
The CCT dial allows you to select the desired light color output.
- Hurihia te CCT dial to choose from:
- 2700K: Mahana Ma
- 3000K: Maama ngawari
- 4000K: Matao White
- 5000K: Awatea
- 6500K: Maama kanapa
6.2 Adjusting Motion Sensor Sensitivity
The Sensitivity dial controls how easily the motion sensor is triggered.
- Hurihia te Te tairongo dial to choose from:
- ITI: Less sensitive, requires more significant motion.
- Waenga: Te tairongo paerewa.
- TIKA: Ko te tino tairongo, ka kitea nga nekehanga iti.
6.3 Adjusting Lighting Time
The Lighting Time dial determines how long the light remains on after motion is detected and the area is clear.
- Hurihia te Te Wa Rama dial to choose from:
- 1 MIN: Light stays on for 1 minute.
- 5 MIN: Ka mau te rama mō te 5 meneti.
- 10 MIN: Ka mau te rama mō te 10 meneti.
- 15 MIN: Ka mau te rama mō te 15 meneti.
- 5s (TEST): For testing purposes, light stays on for 5 seconds.
- Pouriuri ki te Ao: Light remains on from dusk until dawn, overriding motion sensor functionality.
Tuhipoka: When "Dusk to Dawn" is selected, the motion sensor is bypassed, and the light will operate continuously from dusk until dawn based on the photocell sensor.
6.4 Adjusting Light Head Position
The two LED light heads can be independently adjusted to direct illumination precisely where needed.
- Each head can rotate up to 270° horizontally.
- Each head can tilt up to 45° vertically.
- Gently loosen the adjustment screws, position the heads, and then tighten the screws to secure.
7. Tiaki
- Te horoi: Horoia te taputapu ki te ngohengohe, damp kakahu. Kaua e whakamahi i nga kai horoi me nga whakarewa.
- Tirotiro: Periodically inspect the fixture for any damage to the wiring or housing.
- Huihuinga: The LEDs are integrated and not user-replaceable.
8. Te Raru
| Raruraru | Take pea | Rongoā |
|---|---|---|
| Kaore e marama te rama. | No power, faulty wiring, photocell detecting daylight. | Check circuit breaker. Verify wiring connections. Test at night or cover photocell. |
| Ka mau tonu te rama. | "Dusk to Dawn" mode selected, constant motion detected, sensor obstructed. | Adjust "Lighting Time" dial away from "Dusk to Dawn". Clear obstructions from sensor. Adjust sensor sensitivity. |
| Light turns on for no apparent reason (false triggers). | High sensitivity, heat sources, reflective surfaces, small animals. | Reduce "Sensitivity" setting. Reposition sensor to avoid heat vents or reflective objects. |
| Kaore te marama e kite i te nekehanga. | Low sensitivity, sensor obstructed, incorrect angle. | Increase "Sensitivity" setting. Clear obstructions. Adjust sensor angle for optimal coverage. |
