Follow these steps to set up your BN-LINK Outdoor Power Stake:
- Huihuia te tĭtĭ: Securely attach the ground stake to the bottom of the power stake unit. Ensure it is firmly connected.
- Whakaturia te Waeine: Choose a suitable outdoor location for the power stake. Insert the ground stake firmly into the soil, ensuring the unit is stable and at least 1 foot above ground level to prevent waterlogging. Position the unit so the light sensor (if using dusk-to-dawn mode) is not obstructed by artificial light sources or dense foliage.
- Tūhono ki te Hiko: Plug the 25ft extension cord of the power stake into a grounded outdoor electrical outlet.
- Plug in Devices: Open the protective covers of the desired outlets and plug in your outdoor devices (e.g., lights, pumps). Ensure plugs are fully inserted and covers are closed when not in use to maintain weather resistance.

The power stake offers multiple operating modes, which can be selected using the dial on the unit or the remote control.
Timer Modes (Dial on Unit)
- WATE: Power is off to all attached devices.
- ON: Power is continuously supplied to all attached devices.
- Pouri-ki-te-Ao: Power turns on automatically at dusk and remains on until dawn.
- 2H / 4H / 6H / 8H: Power turns on at dusk and remains on for the selected duration (2, 4, 6, or 8 hours).
Mahi Mana Mamao
The included wireless RF remote control allows you to manage the power stake from up to 100 feet away. The remote has buttons for ON, OFF, DUSK, and timed modes (2H, 4H, 6H, 8H).
- Perehi ON to turn on power continuously.
- Perehi WATE to turn off power.
- Perehi AHIAHIA to activate the dusk-to-dawn mode.
- Perehi 2H/4H/6H/8H to activate the corresponding timed mode, starting at dusk.
