Welcome to the world of music with your new LEKATO 61-Key Keyboard Piano. This digital piano is designed for both beginners and experienced musicians, offering a rich array of features to enhance your musical journey. With lighted keys, multiple teaching modes, and versatile connectivity, you can explore various sounds and rhythms with ease.

2. Tohutohu Tatūnga
- Assemble the X-Style Piano Stand: Follow the instructions provided with the X-style piano stand to assemble it securely. Ensure all screws are tightened.
- Whakanohoia te Papapātuhi: Carefully place the LEKATO 61-Key Keyboard Piano onto the assembled X-style stand. Ensure it is stable and level.
- Hono Hono: Plug the included power adapter into the DC 9V port on the back of the keyboard and then into a standard electrical outlet. Alternatively, insert 6 AA batteries into the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard for portable use.
- Attach Music Rest: Insert the music rest into the designated slots above the control panel.
- Apply Key Stickers (Optional): For beginners, apply the provided key stickers to the white keys to help identify notes.

3. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Te Hiko / Whakaweto
Locate the 'POWER' button on the left side of the control panel. Press it to turn the keyboard on or off. The LED screen will illuminate upon power-on.
Mana Rōrahi
Use the 'VOLUME' buttons (+/-) to adjust the master volume of the keyboard. Separate controls are available for accompaniment volume ('ACCOMP VOL') and chord volume ('CHORD VOL').
Selecting Tones and Rhythms
The keyboard offers 300 tones and 300 rhythms. Use the numeric keypad and the 'TONE' or 'RHYTHM' buttons to select your desired sound or rhythm. The LED display will show your selection.
Te tuhi me te purei hoki
Press the 'RECORD' button to begin recording your performance. Press 'PLAY' to listen to your recorded track. The 'PROGRAM' function allows for more advanced sequencing.
Tikanga Whakaako
Engage the 'Single-Key Mode' or 'Follow Mode' for guided learning. The lighted keys will assist you in mastering melodies and finger placement.

- Nga Mahi Waahi: Single-finger and multi-finger chords, bass chords, tempo control, transposition, split, sync, fill, sustain, vibrato, and metronome.
- Hononga Rawa: Audio input jack, sustain pedal jack, microphone jack, and headphone jack.

5. Hononga
The LEKATO 61-Key Keyboard Piano offers various connectivity options:
- Tāuru Ororongo: Connect external audio devices to play along with your favorite tracks.
- Te Tūhono Paera Whakapūmau: For connecting an external sustain pedal (not included).
- Hiko Miihini: Plug in a microphone to sing along while you play.
- Tihakihihi Connect headphones for private practice sessions without disturbing others.

6. Kōwhiringa Mana
Your keyboard can be powered in two ways:
- Mana AC: Use the included 9V power adapter for continuous power.
- Mana Pūhiko: For portability, the keyboard can operate on 6 AA batteries (not included).

7. Tiaki
- Te horoi: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the keyboard. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Rokiroki: Whakaorangia te papapātuhi ki te waahi hauhautanga, maroke atu i te ra tika me te wera nui.
- Tiaki Pūhiko: Mena kei te whakamahi i nga pākahiko, tangohia mena ka kore e whakamahia te papapātuhi mo te wa roa kia kore ai e pakaru.
8. Te Raru
- Kore Oro: Check if the power is on and the volume is turned up. Ensure headphones are not plugged in if you intend to use the speakers.
- Kī Kāore i te Whakautu: Verify the keyboard is powered on. If using teaching modes, ensure you are pressing the correct lighted keys.
- Nga take hiko: If using the adapter, ensure it is securely plugged into both the keyboard and the outlet. If using batteries, check if they are correctly inserted and not depleted.
