- Whakataunga Tuatahi: Before first use, fully charge the lantern's internal battery. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the SB-C Charging Port on the lantern and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show charging status.
- Attaching/Detaching Side Lights: The two side lights are magnetically attached to the main lantern body. To detach, gently pull them away. To reattach, align them with the magnetic contacts on the main unit until they snap into place.

Main Lantern Operation
- Hiko Whakaka/Weto: Press the main power button located on the top of the lantern to turn the unit on or off.
- Hurihanga Maama Aratau: With the lantern on, press the main power button repeatedly to cycle through the available lighting modes: Main COB Light (800 lumens), Detachable Side Lights (200 lumens each), and Detachable Floodlights (120 lumens each).

Detachable Side Light Operation
- Whakamahi Motuhake: Once detached from the main lantern, each side light can be operated independently.
- Power On/Off (Side Light): Press the power button on the individual side light to turn its COB light or flashlight on or off.
- Taumahi Rama: Each detachable side light includes a flashlight on its end. Press the side light's power button to activate the flashlight mode.
