- Always use the anti-slip pads provided to ensure table stability and prevent sliding.
- Do not exceed the maximum recommended load of 40 kg (88 lbs).

Follow these steps to assemble your HOMCOM Extendable Dining Table. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.
- Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a blanket or carpet) to prevent scratches.
- Attach the steel legs to the main tabletop section using the provided hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten.
- If using the table in its compact form, ensure the main tabletop sections are pushed together. The extendable leaf is stored separately.
- To extend the table, carefully separate the main tabletop sections to create a gap.
- Insert the extendable leaf into the gap, ensuring it is properly seated and aligned with the main table surface.
- Push the main tabletop sections back towards the leaf to secure it.
- Attach the anti-slip pads to the bottom of the table legs.

- Clear the table surface of any items.
- Gently pull the main tabletop sections apart to create a gap for the extension leaf.
- Retrieve the extendable leaf (if stored separately) and carefully place it into the created gap.
- Ensure the leaf is properly seated and aligned with the main table surface.
- Push the main tabletop sections back towards the leaf until they are flush and secure.
To Compact the Table:
- Clear the table surface.
- Gently pull the main tabletop sections apart to release the extendable leaf.
- Remove the extendable leaf and store it securely underneath the main tabletop or in a designated storage area.
- Push the main tabletop sections back together until they meet and are flush.

Te Tiaki me te Tiaki
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your HOMCOM dining table.

- Maringi: Clean spills immediately to prevent staining, especially on the engineered wood surface.
- Parenga: Use placemats or coasters to protect the surface from hot dishes, scratches, and moisture.
- Pūmautanga: Periodically check and tighten all assembly hardware to maintain stability. Do not overtighten.
- Nekehanga: When moving the table, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the legs, anti-slip pads, and floor.

Difficulty extending/compacting the table:
- Ensure the table surface is clear of items that might impede movement.
- Apply gentle, even pressure when sliding the sections. Do not force the mechanism.
