6. Tatūnga
Follow these steps for initial setup of your fuel pump:
- Wewete: Tangohia nga waahanga katoa mai i te kohinga.
- Tirotiro: Check the pump and all accessories for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Attach Hose Adaptors: Securely attach the two hose adaptors to the inlet and outlet ports of the pump. Use the provided sealing tape on the threads to ensure a leak-proof connection.
- Tāuta Tātari: Connect the plastic oil filter to the inlet hose adaptor. This filter helps prevent debris from entering the pump.
- Secure Hoses: Attach your fuel hoses (not included) to the hose adaptors using the provided clips to ensure a tight and secure connection.

7. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Once set up, follow these steps to operate your TOPWAY fuel pump:
- Whakarite: Ensure the inlet hose is fully submerged in the fuel source and the outlet hose is directed into the receiving container.
- Whakahiko: Flip the explosion-proof switch to the 'ON' position. The pump will begin to operate.
- Aroturuki Rere: The pump is self-priming. Allow a few moments for the pump to prime and begin transferring fuel. Monitor the flow rate and ensure there are no leaks.
- Transfer Fuel: Continue pumping until the desired amount of fuel has been transferred or the source tank is empty.
- Weto Whakakore: Once transfer is complete, flip the switch to the 'OFF' position.
- Momotu: Carefully disconnect the hoses, ensuring any residual fuel is contained.
