This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your Ranein Electric Mini Tank Water Heater, Model WarmCube 8. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use, and retain it for future reference.
The Ranein WarmCube 8 is an 8-gallon point-of-use electric water heater designed to provide instant hot water for various applications, including kitchens, bathrooms, and RVs. It operates on 120V with a 1440W heating element.

The Ranein WarmCube 8 is designed for efficiency and durability, featuring:
- Wai wera Inamata: 8-gallon capacity provides hot water on demand, ideal for point-of-use applications.
- Hanga Roa: Equipped with a stainless steel inner tank for corrosion resistance and extended lifespan.

- Wewete Arā Atu Anō: Triple-layer design with enamel coating, high-density insulation foam, and reinforced decarburized steel plate for superior heat preservation and reduced energy loss.

4. Tatūnga me te Tāuta
The Ranein WarmCube 8 offers versatile installation options, including under-sink, wall-mounted, or floor-mounted setups. Ensure adequate clearance and proper plumbing and electrical connections.
4.1 Kōwhiringa Pae
- Choose a location that is easily accessible for maintenance and protected from freezing temperatures.
- Ensure the mounting surface (if wall-mounted) can support the weight of the unit when full (approximately 8 gallons of water + unit weight).
- Verify sufficient space for installation and future servicing.

4.2 Hononga Paipa
- Connect the cold water inlet to the designated port on the water heater.
- Connect the hot water outlet to your fixture's hot water line.
- Install a temperature and pressure relief (T&P) valve as required by local codes.
- Flush the tank with water before connecting to power to remove any air and ensure no leaks.
4.3 Hononga Hiko
- The unit operates on a standard 120V outlet. Ensure the circuit can handle the 1440W load.
- Plug the water heater into a properly grounded electrical outlet.

5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Once installed and filled with water, the Ranein WarmCube 8 is ready for operation.
5.1 Whakaohoatanga Tuatahi
- Ensure the tank is completely filled with water before plugging in the unit. Open a hot water faucet to allow air to escape until water flows steadily.
- Plug the unit into a grounded 120V outlet. The heating indicator light will illuminate.
5.2 Te Whakarereketanga o te Pawera
The water heater features a precision adjustable thermostat. Use the control knob on the front of the unit to set your desired water temperature.

- Turn the knob counter-clockwise to decrease the temperature or turn the unit off.
- The temperature range is typically 55°F to 145°F (13°C to 63°C), with a maximum internal temperature capability of 185°F (85°C).

5.3 Whakamahinga ia ra
The unit will automatically heat water to the set temperature and maintain it. Hot water will be available instantly at your point of use.
6. Tiaki
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your water heater.

- T&P Valve Check: Test the temperature and pressure relief valve at least once a year by lifting the lever. Ensure water flows freely and the valve reseats properly.
