The NOUS ZigBee Smart Plug requires a compatible ZigBee 3.0 gateway (hub) for smart automation, remote control, and voice assistant compatibility. If your voice assistant or smart home system does not have a built-in hub, an additional SmartThings or ZigBee hub may be required.
