The EPLO Smart Toilet Bidet EP-E18MAX integrates advanced technology for enhanced hygiene and comfort. Key features include:

  • Mahi Pa-kore: Automatic lid opening upon approach and closing after use, foot control for flush and seat/lid operation, and an exclusive Men's Auto Urinal Flush.
  • Powerful Flushing System: An in-tank pump flushing system with a 1000G MaP certified score, ensuring effective waste removal even with low water pressure. Includes a blackout flush feature.
  • Whakarei ake i te akuaku: Automatic deodorizing function and a mobile warm air dryer with adjustable speed, temperature, and position to reduce reliance on toilet paper.
  • Whakamarie Pai: ADA-compliant 17.4-inch seat height, a heated seat with adjustable temperature, a soft night light for visibility, and instant warm water for bidet functions.
  • Water and Power Efficiency: Dual flush system (1.6 GPF full flush / 1.1 GPF half flush) and an ECO mode to minimize standby energy consumption.
  • Customized Cleansing: Front, rear, and oscillating wash options with adjustable water temperature, pressure, and spray position. The bidet wand is self-cleaning and detachable.

The EPLO Smart Toilet Bidet is designed for floor-mounted installation. Professional installation is recommended due to electrical and plumbing requirements.

3.3. Electrical and Plumbing Considerations

An electrical outlet must be available near the installation site. For water connections, ensure the existing water connection is at least 8 inches from the centerline to accommodate the supplied filter valve. If your water supply has sediment, regular filter cleaning may be necessary.

The EPLO Smart Toilet Bidet offers various automatic and manual functions for a personalized experience.

4.1. Automatic Functions

  • Auto Open/Close: Ka tuwhera aunoa te taupoki ina whakatata koe ki te wharepaku, ā, ka kati aunoa ina puta koe.
  • Men's Auto Urinal Flush: A dedicated automatic flush for men, activated by proximity.
  • Pūoko Waewae: Tap your foot near the sensor to open/close the seat or activate a flush.
  • Horoi Aunoa i waho o te Nohoanga: The toilet flushes automatically after you stand up.
  • Makuku-mua: The bowl is pre-wetted upon sensing presence to aid in cleanliness.

4.2. Flushing Options

The toilet offers multiple ways to flush:

  • Horoi Mana Mamao: Use the provided remote to activate a full or half flush.
  • Wall Sticked Button Flush: A convenient button located on the wall for flushing.
  • Knob Flush: A manual knob for flushing, also serving as a power outage flush.
  • Pūnaha Horoi Takirua: Choose between a 1.6 GPF (full) or 1.1 GPF (half) flush for water conservation.
  • Te Whakakorenga o te Ārai: Ensures flushing capability even during power interruptions.

4.3. Bidet Functions

Experience personalized cleansing with the bidet features:

  • Kōwhiringa Horoi: Choose from Front Wash, Rear Wash, or Oscillating Wash.
  • Tautuhinga Whakaritea: Customize water temperature, pressure (3 gears), and spray position.
  • Hygienic Wand: The arc-shape spray wand is designed to avoid contact with waste, is self-cleaning before and after each use, and is detachable for thorough cleaning.

4.4. Mahi Whakamaroke

The mobile warm air dryer provides efficient drying:

  • Tautuhinga Whakaritea: Control air speed (Low, Medium, High), temperature (OFF, 90°F, 93°F, 96°F, 99°F), and position (1st to 6th gear).

4.5. Ngā Āhuatanga Whakamarie

  • Nohoa Whakawera: Enjoy a warm seat with adjustable temperature settings (OFF, 86°F, 90°F, 93°F, 96°F, 99°F).
  • Maama po: A soft night light illuminates the bowl for nighttime safety and convenience.
  • ADA Comfort Height: The 17.4-inch seat height provides comfort and ease of use, especially for seniors and individuals with limited mobility.

4.6. Remote Control and ECO Mode

The remote control allows easy adjustment of all settings. The ECO mode can be activated to reduce standby energy consumption, contributing to lower electricity expenses and environmental protection.

5. Tiaki

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your smart toilet bidet.

5.1. Cleaning the Bidet Wand

The bidet wand features a self-cleaning function. For additional cleaning, the wand is detachable. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for removal and cleaning procedures.

5.2. Auto Deodorizing

The integrated auto deodorizing function helps maintain a fresh environment by neutralizing odors.

5.3. Tiaki Tiaki

The internal water lines are equipped with two small filters to prevent impurities from clogging the pump. If your water supply contains sediment, these filters may become clogged, affecting flushing performance. To clean the filters:

  1. Whakawetohia te puna wai ki te wharepaku.
  2. Carefully disassemble the relevant sections of the toilet to access the filters. (Refer to the detailed diagrams in the complete user manual or contact customer support for guidance).
  3. Remove and clean the filters under running water.
  4. Reassemble the components, ensuring all connections are secure.

6. Te Raru

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your EPLO Smart Toilet Bidet.

6.1. Flushing Issues

  • Kore e Horoi, Kore rānei e Horoi Ngāwari: Check if the water supply is fully open. If your water has sediment, the internal filters might be clogged. Refer to Section 5.3 for filter cleaning instructions.
  • Automatic Flush Not Working: Ensure the foot sensor is clean and unobstructed. Verify that the auto-flush feature is enabled via the remote control (long-press the full-flush button until it beeps).

6.2. Bidet or Dryer Malfunctions

  • No Water/Air from Wand: Check water supply. Ensure the bidet/dryer function is activated on the remote and settings are correctly adjusted.
  • Incorrect Water/Air Temperature: Adjust temperature settings using the remote control. Allow a moment for the water/air to reach the desired temperature.

6.3. Lid/Seat Automation Issues

  • Lid/Seat Not Opening/Closing Automatically: Ensure the proximity sensor is clean and unobstructed. Verify that the auto open/close feature is enabled.
