2. Tatūnga
2.1 Tuku Hiko
The EL-2607LG operates primarily on AC power. Connect the provided AC adapter to the calculator's power input and then to a standard electrical outlet. For continuous operation and memory retention during power outages, the calculator includes a CR2032 backup battery. Ensure this battery is installed correctly.

4. Tiaki
4.1 Te horoi
To maintain the calculator's appearance and functionality, regularly wipe the casing and display with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no liquid enters the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
4.2 Whakakapinga Pūhiko
If the display becomes dim or memory functions are lost when the AC adapter is disconnected, the CR2032 backup battery may need replacement. Refer to the battery compartment instructions for safe replacement.
4.3 Paper and Ink Roller Replacement
