4. Tatūnga
4.1 Te Whakapiri i te Kakau Awhina
The auxiliary handle provides better control and safety during operation. Loosen the auxiliary handle by turning it counter-clockwise. Slide it over the chuck and position it to your desired angle. Tighten it securely by turning clockwise.
4.2 Inserting/Removing SDS-plus Tools
- Te horoi: Clean the shank of the SDS-plus tool and apply a thin layer of grease.
- Whakauru: Push the tool into the SDS-plus chuck while rotating it slightly until it locks into place. Pull the tool to check if it is securely seated.
- Tango: Pull back the locking sleeve on the chuck and pull the tool out.
Tuhipoka: The SDS-plus system allows for axial movement of the tool, which is normal and necessary for the impact mechanism.
4.3 Te Whakatakoto i te Whakamutu Hōhonutanga
Insert the depth stop into the designated hole on the auxiliary handle. Adjust the depth stop to the desired drilling depth by sliding it in or out. Secure it by tightening the auxiliary handle.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
5.1 Te whiriwhiri i te Aratau Mahi
The TC-RH 1600 offers four functions, selected via a rotary switch:
- keri: For drilling in wood, metal, or plastic without impact.
- Te Keri Pānga: For drilling in concrete, masonry, and stone with impact.
- Chiseling (with lock): For chiseling applications where the chisel position needs to be fixed.
- Chiseling (without lock): For chiseling applications allowing free rotation of the chisel for easier positioning.
Tupato: Always ensure the tool is unplugged before changing the operating mode.
5.2 Te Tīmata me te Whakamutu i te Utauta
- Hei Tīmata: Pēhia te whakakā ON/OFF.
- Hei Whakamutu: Release the ON/OFF switch. For continuous operation, press the ON/OFF switch and then the lock-on button. To release, press the ON/OFF switch again.
5.3 Whakahaere Tere
The tool features electronic speed control. The speed can be adjusted by varying the pressure on the ON/OFF switch. Lighter pressure results in lower speed, while full pressure provides maximum speed. This allows for fine adjustment during delicate work.
6. Tiaki me te Whakapai
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Einhell TC-RH 1600 rotary hammer drill. Always unplug the tool from the power supply before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
