- Āpiti Ripanga: Secure the tabletop to the assembled base. Once aligned, fully tighten all bolts and screws for the table structure.
- Assemble Chairs (x4): For each chair, attach the front legs to the seat frame, then attach the back legs and the X-backrest. Secure all connections with the provided hardware. Ensure the chair is stable before fully tightening.
- Assemble Bench (x1): Attach the bench legs to the cushioned bench seat using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Taki Whakamutunga: Once all pieces are assembled, gently shake each item to ensure stability. Re-tighten any loose connections.

Extending the Dining Table
- Gently pull the two ends of the table apart to reveal the extension mechanism.
- Take one of the 11-inch removable leaves and carefully place it into the gap, aligning the pins and holes.
- Repeat with the second 11-inch leaf if further extension is desired.
- Push the table ends back together firmly until the leaves are securely locked in place.
Retracting the Dining Table
- Gently pull the table ends apart to release the leaves.
- Carefully lift out the 11-inch removable leaves.
- Push the table ends back together until they meet, forming the compact table size.
- Store the removed leaves in a safe, dry place when not in use.

Te tiaki
- Te horoi: For the wood surfaces, wipe with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Occasional polishing with a wood-safe furniture polish can enhance luster.
- Kuhi: Spot clean fabric cushions with a mild detergent and damp cloth. Do not machine wash. Allow to air dry completely.
- Parenga: Use placemats and coasters to protect the tabletop from spills and heat.
- Taki Pumau: Periodically check all bolts and screws and re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability.
Raparongoā
- Wobbly Table/Chair/Bench: Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. If the issue persists, loosen all fasteners slightly, press down firmly on the item to level it, then re-tighten.
- Difficulty Extending/Retracting Table: Check for any obstructions in the extension mechanism. Ensure leaves are inserted correctly and aligned. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the sliding mechanism if movement is stiff.
- Scratches on Wood: Minor scratches can often be concealed with a wood repair marker or furniture polish. For deeper scratches, professional repair may be required.
