- Whakaweto Hiko: Before installation, ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker or wall switch.
- Tango Pupura Tawhito: Carefully unscrew and remove the existing light bulb from the fixture. Allow it to cool if it was recently in use.
- Tāuta Pūrama Hōu: Screw the EcoSmart A19 LED bulb into the fixture's socket. Turn clockwise until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

6.1. Selecting Color Temperature
Your EcoSmart A19 LED bulb features an integrated switch to select your desired color temperature. This switch is located on the base of the bulb. Before screwing the bulb into the fixture, rotate the small switch to choose one of the six available color temperatures:
- 2700K (Ma ngawari)
- 3000K (Ma kanapa)
- 3500K (True White)
- 4000K (Ma matao)
- 5000K (Atea)
- 6500K (Daylight Deluxe)
Once the desired color temperature is set, install the bulb as described in Section 5. The selected color temperature will remain active until manually changed again.
