2. Hototahi
The CPL-600 filter is exclusively compatible with the following VIOFO camera models:
- VIOFO A329S Rear Camera
- VIOFO A229 Ultra Rear Camera
- VIOFO A329T Telephoto Camera Lens (likely compatible due to similar lens setup)
Note: This CPL filter is not suitable for the interior camera of the A329S or similar models, as the lens design prevents a proper fit.

3. Tāutanga
Follow these steps to properly install the CPL-600 filter on your compatible VIOFO dash camera lens:
- Horoia te Arotahi: Gently wipe the dash camera lens to ensure it is free of dust, smudges, or fingerprints.
- Tango Kiriata Tiaki: Carefully peel off any protective film from both sides of the CPL filter.
- Attach the Filter: Align the CPL filter with the camera lens and gently press it into place. The filter is designed to fit snugly over the lens.

4. Operating the CPL Filter
The CPL filter works by filtering out polarized light, which is often the cause of glare and reflections. By rotating the filter, you can adjust the level of polarization to achieve the desired effect. This allows for clearer video capture, especially in bright conditions or when reflections are prominent.
The filter is effective for both daytime and nighttime recording, adapting to various lighting conditions to improve image clarity and color saturation.

5. Tiaki
The CPL-600 filter features a multi-resistant coating that provides protection against water, scratches, oil, and static. To maintain optimal performance and clarity:
- Te horoi: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the filter surface. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the filter.
- Te whakahaere: Avoid touching the filter surface directly with your fingers to prevent fingerprints and oils.
- Rokiroki: When not in use, store the filter in its original packaging or a protective case to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.

6. Te Raru
- Blurry Image After Installation: Check if any protective film remains on either side of the CPL filter. Some users have reported a protective film on the inside of the lens causing blurriness. Remove all protective films before use.
- Kaore e uru te tātari: Ensure you are attempting to install the CPL-600 filter on a compatible rear or telephoto camera lens (A329S Rear Camera, A229 Ultra Rear Camera, A329T Telephoto Camera). This filter is not designed for the interior camera due to lens size differences.
- Insufficient Glare Reduction: Rotate the CPL filter while observing the live view or recorded footage to find the optimal angle for glare reduction. The effect of polarization varies with the angle of the filter relative to the light source.
