3. Tatūnga

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your water dispenser.

  2. Turanga: Place the dispenser on a stable, level, and dry surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Puke Wai Ma: Before first use, remove the detachable water tank and rinse it thoroughly with clean water. The ultrafiltration filter is pre-installed; ensure it is securely in place.
  4. Whakakihia te Taaka Wai: Fill the water tank with potable water up to the maximum fill line. Reattach the water tank securely to the main unit.
  5. Whakatakoto Paepae Whakataka: Place the detachable drip tray onto its designated slot at the base of the dispenser.
  6. Hono Hono: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The dispenser will enter standby mode.
  7. Initial Flush (Recommended): For first-time use or after filter replacement, dispense at least 500ml of water at 99°C to flush the system. Discard this water.

4. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere

Your Mayer MMIWD30-BY dispenser features a sensor touch control panel for easy operation.

  • Pātene Hiko: To turn the dispenser on/off or enter standby mode.
  • Tīpakonga Temperature: Cycle through preset temperatures: 25°C, 45°C, 65°C, 85°C, 99°C. Precise 1°C interval control is available within these ranges.
  • Tīpakonga Rōrahi: Choose from preset cup sizes: 200ml, 350ml, 500ml.
  • Patene Tuku: Press to start dispensing water.
  • Maukati Tamariki: A safety feature to prevent accidental dispensing of hot water. Activate/deactivate by pressing and holding the child lock icon.
  • Whakaatu LED: Shows selected temperature, volume, and status indicators.

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the dispenser is plugged in.
  2. Place a cup or container on the drip tray directly under the water outlet.
  3. Select your desired water temperature using the temperature selection button.
  4. Select the desired water volume (200ml, 350ml, or 500ml) using the volume selection button.
  5. If the child lock is active, deactivate it.
  6. Press the dispense button. The dispenser will heat and dispense water in approximately 5 seconds.
  7. To stop dispensing before the selected volume is reached, press the dispense button again.

5. Tiaki

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your dispenser.

  1. Carefully remove the drip tray from the dispenser.

Water Tank and Filter Maintenance:

The ultrafiltration filter helps remove impurities and reduce limescale. The filter should be replaced periodically based on water quality and usage, typically every 3-6 months.

  1. Unplug the dispenser and remove the water tank.

  4. Insert a new ultrafiltration filter securely into the water tank.
