This timer also includes automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST) adjustment and an internal battery backup to retain settings during power outages.

  1. Whakaatu Mata: Shows current time, day, mode, and program settings.
  2. Pātene: Used for setting time, programs, and modes (SET, PROG, D/D, Reset, ON/OFF, +, -).

  4. Green Operation Indicator Light: Illuminates when the timer is actively controlling a connected device (e.g., turning it ON).

To clear all previous settings and reset the timer to factory defaults, use a small pointed object (like a pen tip) to press the Tautuhi Anō button located on the front of the timer. This is recommended for initial setup or if you encounter programming difficulties.

The timer supports six U.S. time zones for accurate astronomical timing. To set your time zone:

The timer automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time. No manual reset is needed.

5.2 Operating Modes (Auto, Manual, Random)

The timer offers three operating modes:

5.3 Astronomical Dusk to Dawn Feature

The timer can automatically adjust ON/OFF times based on local sunrise and sunset. This feature is active when the timer is in Auto mode and the time zone is correctly set. The display will show 'D/D' when this feature is active for a program.
