Follow these steps for proper installation of your LED string lights.
- Te Whakamahere i te Tahora: Determine the desired path for your string lights. Consider the length (24 ft) and the spacing of the bulbs. The string light features integrated hanging loops above each bulb socket for easy installation.

- Whakapiki: Use appropriate hardware (not included, e.g., hooks, zip ties, guide wire) to secure the string light via the hanging loops. Ensure the mounting points are sturdy enough to support the weight of the string light. Avoid pulling or straining the main cable.
- Bulb Installation/Tightening: The S14 LED bulbs are typically pre-installed. However, it is crucial to ensure each bulb is screwed in tightly into its socket. This ensures proper electrical contact and maintains the IP65 wet rating for outdoor use. If a bulb is loose, it may not light up, or the entire string may not function correctly.

- Connecting Multiple Strands (Linkable Feature): If you wish to extend the length, this string light is linkable. Locate the male plug at one end and the female receptacle at the other. Connect additional LEDVANCE string light sets by plugging the male end of one set into the female end of another. Ensure connections are secure and the protective cap on the female end is used if not linking.

- Hononga Hiko: Once installed and all bulbs are secure, plug the string light into a standard 120V AC power outlet. For outdoor use, ensure the outlet is a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected receptacle.
5. Nga Tohutohu Whakahaere
Operating your LEDVANCE string lights is straightforward.
- Hei Whakakā: Plug the string light into a live 120V AC power outlet. The lights will illuminate.
- Hei Whakakore: Unplug the string light from the power outlet.
- There are no additional controls (e.g., dimmer, timer) integrated into the string light itself. External devices can be used if desired.
6. Tiaki
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and performance of your string lights.
- Te horoi: Disconnect power before cleaning. Wipe bulbs and cables with a soft, damp kakahu. Kaua e whakamahi i nga matū kino me nga horoi horoi.
