Follow these steps to properly install your hygger aquarium heater:
- Wewete: Carefully remove the heater and controller from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Turanga: Position the heater fully submerged in your aquarium. It can be placed vertically or horizontally. Ensure the heater is at least 5cm below the water surface.
- Haumaru: Use the included strong suction cups to firmly attach the heater to the inside wall of your tank.
- Te Tūnga o te Kaiwhakahaere: Place the digital temperature controller outside the aquarium in a dry location. Remember, the controller is not waterproof.
- Hononga Hiko: Once the heater is securely placed and fully submerged, plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

Your hygger aquarium heater is designed for easy operation with its external digital controller.

- Upon power connection, the controller will display the real-time water temperature.
- Press the "SET" button briefly to increase the preset temperature. Each press will cycle through the available temperature range (59-93°F).
- Once your desired temperature is displayed, stop pressing the "SET" button. The display will flash briefly and then return to showing the actual water temperature. The set temperature is now saved.
Rama Tohu:
- Maama Whero: Indicates the heater is actively heating the water.
- Maama Kariki: Indicates the heater has stopped heating and the water is at the set temperature (standby mode).
