Please Refer To The Following Steps

Step 1: Insert LAN Cable to Network Socket
Ensure the LAN cable is properly connected to the network socket labeled “BMC LAN”.

Step 2: Enter BIOS to Check BMC IP

Step 3: Choose BMC LAN Channel to Check BMC LAN IP
There are three BMC LAN Channels available:

BMC LAN Channel NIC Description BMC Default IP
LAN 1 BMC Shared LAN 192.168.0.100

Select the appropriate BMC LAN Channel.

 You Can Change Your BMC LAN Setting
Modify the BMC LAN settings as needed, choosing between DHCP and Static IP configurations.

Step 4: Setup Client Network Configuration
Configure the Client IP to be in the same network area as the BMC IP.

Example

  • BMC LAN Channel 1 IP: 192.168.0.100, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
  • Client IP: 192.168.0.88, Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0

Step 5: Enter BMC IP to Browser to Access BMC Web
Use the following default credentials to log in:

  • BMC Default USERID: dfi
  • BMC Default Password: dfi

Yes, you can change the BMC LAN settings in the BIOS configuration.

What should I do if I forget the BMC default password?

You may need to perform a reset to restore the default password. Refer to the user manual for instructions on resetting the password.
